Beijing, Nov.4 (People's Daily Online) --China's fifth vehicle import port, located in the Qinzhou Bonded Port Area of Guangxi, passed the national acceptance inspection and formally opened on Nov. 1.

Wang Naixue, chairman of the administrative commission of the Qinzhou port area, said the southwestern coast of China imports more than 60,000 vehicles every year.

All of these vehicles formerly had to come in through other vehicle import ports, which raised the transport time and logistics costs. But now the vehicle import port of the Qinzhou port area offers convenient access to the southwestern market for imported vehicles, cutting logistics cost and transport time for automobile dealers and benefiting consumers of imported automobiles.
