Recently, the Institute of International Education under the Education International Cooperation Group published the Survey Report on Overseas Returnees' Employability.
According to the survey report, as much as 95 percent of overseas returnees have less than three years of working experience. Those making less than 10,000 yuan in monthly salary account for around 72 percent of survey respondents.
Relevant experts believe that most overseas returnees lack the overseas work experience that employers usually seek. That is mainly why their salaries are generally low in the short term. However, their late-mover advantages in their careers are obvious.

According to statistics, about 70 percent of returned overseas Chinese choose to work in China. Their monthly salary demands range from 3,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan. Many outstanding overseas returnees have successfully entered renowned enterprises and are holding important posts, but there are also many overseas returnees still looking for a job.
