Four killed in bomb blast in northeast India

At least four people were killed while three others sustained injuries in a blast in the northeastern Indian state of Manipur Monday, said police.

The blast happened when a powerful bomb exploded near an educational institution in state capital Imphal. The bomb was tied to a two-wheeler. While four people were killed in the explosion at 14:00 p.m., those injured have been admitted to a local hospital.

A manhunt has been launched to track down those responsible for the blast.
