6.0-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu region

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted Vanuatu region at 22:34 on Sunday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Network Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 30 km, was initially determined to be at 17.0 degrees south latitude and 171.7 degrees east longitude.
