The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) embraced a gloomy summertime in July. Floods triggered by nationwide downpours and typhoon hit a number of areas in the country. According to the statistics offered by the country’s official news agency KCNA, as of August 4, floods have claimed 169 lives and left more than 400 people missing.
