Syrian refugees at Zaatari camp in Jordan

Syrian refugee children are seen at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees, 15 kilometres (nine miles) from the kingdom's northern city of Mafraq, near the border with Syria, on August 11, 2012. There are now about 3,000 Syrians taking shelters in the desert Zaatari refugee camp that was opened last month to alleviate the humanitarian crisis.(Xinhua/Mohammad Abu Ghosh)
