Int'l Day against Drug Abuse marked in Jakarta, Indonesia

The annual International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was instituted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987. According to an estimation by the National Narcotics Agency of Indonesia in 2011, 9.6 million to 12.9 million people of the population aged 10-59 in the country have tried to use drugs at least once in their lives.(Xinhua/Agung Kuncahya B)
