BRISBANE, Australia, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Australia's Queensland Premier Campbell Newman has announced his new Ministry of the Liberal National Party (LNP) Government, the State Government said on Friday.

Newman has appointed 19 ministers and 11 assistant ministers.

"All members of the Ministry will be working hard for Queensland - to grow a four pillar economy, lower the cost of living by cutting waste, revitalize front line services, deliver better infrastructure and planning and restore accountability to government," Newman said on Friday in a statement.

"After 20 years of Labor, we have a lot of work to do, but my team and I will be working hard every day to get Queensland back on track," he said.

The Ministry will be sworn in by Queensland Governor Penelope Wensley on Tuesday.

Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney has been selected as the Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning while Tim Nicholls will be Treasurer and Minister for Trade.

Former LNP leader Lawrence Springborg has been appointed as the Minister for Health, while Fiona Simpson will be the state's first female Parliamentary Speaker.

David Gibson has been chosen as the Police Minister, Bruce Flegg will be the Minister for Housing and Public Works, and John- Paul Langbroek will be Education Minister.
