UN's Annan arrives in Syria to push for violence end

DAMASCUS, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Kofi Annan, the joint special envoy of UN and Arab League for Syria, arrived in the Syrian capital of Damascus Saturday in an attempt to push for ending the year-long violence.
