Brussels airport back to order after suspicious package taken away

BRUSSELS, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Brussels national airport has gone back to order after a suspicious bag found on Monday morning was taken away.

The package was found at the arrival area of the airport, some 13 km northeast of Brussels, La Libre Belgique reported on its website, adding the area was evacuated following the possible bomb threat.

A demining team had been sent to the airport, according to the report.

The package was taken away by the police and operation of the airport has returned to normal.
