SEOUL, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's top nuclear negotiator will visit Russia next week for talks over reopening stalled six-party talks aimed at dismantling the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s nuclear program, local media reported Tuesday.

Lim Sung-nam, Seoul's envoy to the six-party talks, will meet with his Russian counterpart and deputy foreign minister Igor Morgulov, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The exact date for the meeting has yet to be announced.

Before leaving for Moscow, Lim is reportedly scheduled to meet with Kurt Campbell, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific, to discuss ways to resume the six-party talks.

The disarmament-for-aid talks, last held in 2008, involve two Koreas, China, Russia, the U.S. and Japan.
