U.S. military budget to keep growing but at slower rate: Obama

WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama said Thursday that the U.S. defense spending will continue to grow but at a slower rate.

The president made the remarks as he unveiled a revised national defense strategy designed to adjust to a new era of austerity.
