38 Haitians found dead after refugees' boat sinks off Cuba: report

HAVANA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least 38 Haitians died and 87 others were rescued after a boat carrying more than 100 refugees sank off Cuba, local media reported Saturday.

The shipwreck was found only 100 meters off Point Maisi of eastern Cuba and authorities were still searching for more survivors.
