MOSCOW, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Monday agreed on new measures to push forward the integration process of the regional bloc comprising five ex- Soviet republics including Russia, the Kremlin's official website said.

The presidents of the EurAsEC member states -- Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, signed several documents on matters including the further buildup of the Russia-Belarus- Kazakhstan Customs Union, the Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan Common Economic Space and the operation of the new EurAsEC court.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that all 17 documents required for the launch of the Common Economic Space in 2012 have been ratified by all participating states.

He also highly valued the Anti-Crisis Fund of the EurAsEC, saying the Fund has been proved viable and successful in combating the impact of the global financial crisis.

The Fund, which was created as a common tool to be used in EurAsEC member states, would continue to operate in the future, Medvedev added.
