BAGHDAD, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and nine others injured in separate bomb attacks in north and central Iraq on Sunday, the police said.
In northern Iraq, two civilians were killed and three others wounded when a bomb went off inside a house in Dumeiz district in the south of the city of Kirkuk, some 250 km north of Baghdad, a provincial police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
In Baghdad, a roadside bomb detonated in Camp Sara district in the southeast of the capital, injuring six civilians, an Interior Ministry source anonymously told Xinhua.
Earlier in the day, the police reported the killing of four Iraqi soldiers when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol in central Abu Ghraib area, some 20 km west of Baghdad.
Sporadic attacks are still common in Iraqi cities despite the dramatic decrease of violence over the past few years.
