Four killed in shooting incident in Philippine capital

MANILA, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Four people died and two others were wounded when three unidentified armed suspects shot them while on a drinking session in the country's capital region late Monday, police said Tuesday.

Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said that the shooting incident occurred in Quezon City, Metro Manila at around 9:25 p.m. Monday.

The six victims were brought to hospital for treatment but four of them were pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physicians, said Cruz, adding further investigation was ongoing for the arrest of the suspects.
