Manned electric 'Multicopter' takes off

German engineer and founder of e-Volo, Thomas Senkel, flies a multicopter in Germany, Nov 5, 2011. It's the test flight of the multicopter. The multicopter is the world's first manned aircraft purely driven by electric power and can be classified as an ultra-light aircraft with 16 propellers. [Photo/CFP]
