BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted eastern Turkey 6:41 p.m. Beijing Time (GMT 1041) Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Network Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 38.8 degrees north latitude and 43.5 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement on its website.
