On August 27th, 2009, a employer from Vanke said that the company has suffered from Internet attack in September, 2009. At that time, a post named "Songshan Lake Meeting Highlights of Vanke" was very popular on Internet.
The post claimed Vanke would aim at "decreasing real estate price" in the following 16 months in the name of a high official from Vanke. Many netizens have read this post and criticized Vanke.
Xiao Li, Vice president of Vanke, said that the "Songshan Lake Meeting Highlights of Vanke" was forged. Vanke has never planned to hold a meeting at Songshan Lake recently.
Though Vanke did not know who the poster was, the company would "resort to legal process if necessary", Xiao added.
