Chinese top legislator says int'l financial crisis not to affect China's co-op with Seychelles
The current international financial crisis will not affect China's cooperation with Seychelles, visiting Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo said on Thursday.

Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo hailed here the growth of China-Seychelles ties, calling on the two parliaments to contribute efforts to boost cooperation.

China's top legislator Wu Bangguo
will pay official goodwill visits to
Algeria, Gabon, Ethiopia,
Madagasca and Seychelles on
 Nov. 3-15.
  Algeria is situated in northwestern
 Africa with its northern coastline
 running along the Mediterranean 
Sea. It is bordered on the east by
 Tunisia and Libya, on the south by
 Niger, Mali and Mauritania, and on 
the west by Morocco and Western 
Sahara. Algeria has a territory of 
2.38 million square km and its
capital is Algiers.
 Its 33.2-million population is
 predominantly Arab and about
20 percent are Berbers.The country's
official language is Arabic and its
national religion is Islam.

Boost Traditional Friendship
• China, Algeria to further boost
 traditional friendship

China and Algeria have a traditional
 friendship that is developing along
 with the time,Chinese Ambassador
 to Algeria Liu Yuhe told Xinhua prior
to a visit to the North African country
 by China's top legislator
 Wu Bangguo.
 China and Algeria have a time-
honored friendship which traced
 back to the 1940s and the 1950s
during their fight for their respective
independence and for safeguarding
their national sovereignty, Liu noted.
