Emirates Airlines announced on April 11 that it will deploy an Airbus A380 super jumbo aircraft on its Shanghai-Dubai route starting from April 27.

The ticket price for the A380 aircraft will be the same as that of the existing B777-300 and A340-300 aircraft.

The A380 aircraft is the world's largest commercial jet, and Emirates Airlines is the largest A380 aircraft operator, owning a total of 15 aircraft.

Emirates Airlines put the A380 aircraft into service on flights to Beijing on Aug. 1, 2010 and to Hong Kong on Oct.1, 2010. Shanghai will become the third destination of Emirates Airlines' A380 aircraft in China.

The Emirates A380 is well designed and offers passengers in all classes a unique and pleasurable travel experience. Its first-class cabin features 14 private suites where passengers can relax all the way on their flatbed seats and two well-equipped shower spas ensuring passengers arrive at their destinations rejuvenated and refreshed.

Furthermore, there are onboard bars in both the first-class and business-class cabins. The bars are like private clubs, and passengers can enjoy various premium drinks and snacks.

Emirates Airlines operates two flights between Dubai and Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong a day, and one flight between Dubai and Guangzhou.
