Mandarin "2008 Top Place Do-gooder" and well-known Chinese green entrepreneur Chen Guangbiao is continuing his charity trip in Taiwan despite encountering criticisms from local media and public opinion yesterday about his high-profile charity style.

According to schedule, this charity delegation, led by Chen, of about 50 entrepreneurs will continue delivering the "thanksgiving pocket money of Luck" throughout the nine cities and counties in Taiwan that he plans to visit starting on Jan. 27. The donation totals 110 million yuan.

The cross-strait relationship has brought some controversies over Chen's charity style, which Chen himself called "high-profile charity," but it is perceived by some Taiwan locals as a publicity stunt and "tool to make profits.

Chen took the friction in stride, saying that he has been thankful for the diverse charity environment, which gives him deeper insights into philanthropy undertakings. He also updated his twitter title from "Grateful journey" to insert the word "low-profile" before "journey."
