The heaviest snowfall in the past 40 years hit Changsha recently. Snow thickness in some places reached 10 centimeters. Local government has launched the contingency plan for freeze damage.
Weather Forecasts: Much of Hunan Province will still suffer heavy snowfall. The freeze in Southern Hunan will worsen on Jan. 19 and Jan. 20. A lapse in the freeze could possibly bring Northern Hunan a short lovely break. From Jan. 22 to Jan. 24, more rain and snow is expected in this province.
