On June 22, after 14-month's construction the Hangzhou Bay Bridge project's main platform over the sea was basically completed. Besides a tourism lifeline, the platform is the living base for staff working on the sea, a base for maritime rescue, measuring, telecommunication and marine monitoring as well.
