Superstars die of overdose

The 27-year-old British singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her flat in London on July 25. Though not conclusive, she might be one more added to the list of superstars who died from drug or alcohol abuse.

Mostly, the people were young, were talented. Their shining charisma attracted crazy admirers then and now still have countless die-hard fans around the world. However, a genius always has uninhibited soul. Struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, the chaotic or stressful life which they indulged in finally led them to death.

Following are 13 superstars who died of overdose in the past decades, including pop stars, rock musicians, Hollywood actors and actresses:
