A Luoyang museum staff member examines a mural in a Temple of Guan Yu built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in Yiyang County, Luoyang City, central China's Henan Province, July 22, 2011. Archaeologists recently found beautiful mural paintings in an abandoned Qing Dynasty Temple of Guan Yu, a warrior of the Eastern Han Dynasty widely respected in China. The murals, all about Guan Yu, cover an area of 15 square meters and remain intact except for some slight spalling. (Xinhua/Zhang Xiaoli)
