Photo taken on July 5, 2011, shows citizens visiting the newly-repaired Jiefang Pavilion in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province. After over three months' repairing, Jiefang Pavilion, one of the landmarks in Jinan, is now free to the public. Jiefang Pavilion locates in the southeast corner of the old Jinan city's wall, where the People's Liberation Army pierced into Jinan and took the city during the War of Liberation. Inside the pavilion there is the Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall. Jiefang Pavilion is an important field for education in revolutionary tradition; it is also Shandon's cultural relics protection units. The repair since March 20, 2011 aimed to renovate the pavilion in disrepair. (Xinhua/Xu Suhui)
