Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, attended their first official engagement as a married couple at a glamorous London fundraiser on Thursday night.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the guests of honor at the 10th annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) gala dinner at Kensington Palace.
Guests clamored to snap photos on their smartphones of Kate, donning in a floor-length blush organza Jenny Packham gown.
ARK founder Arpad Busson said he was thrilled that the royal couple were the evening's guests of honor.
William and Prince Harry's foundation and ARK "share a common vision and commitment to transform the lives of disadvantaged children in the U.K. and around the world," the palace said in a statement.
In his first speech since his wedding, William, 28, launched a four-year collaboration between his own charitable organization, the Prince William and Prince Harry foundation, and ARK.
William and Kate were married in a lavish wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
