Seal receives operation in zoo in NE China

The small larga seal wakes up at an ocean park in Fushun, northeast China's Liaoning Province, April 16, 2011. A two-month-old larga seal, about 80 centimeter in length and 25 kilograms in weight, received an amputations at the park on Saturday. It will rehabilitate itself here in the next two months. Expert is scheduled to install an artificial limb for the seal after the healing of its wound. (Xinhua/Yao Jianfeng)
