The 30-year-old bell is seen being struck at Xiaomaopo Village Elementary School in Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Enshi, central China's Hubei Province, March 15, 2011. The elementary school, established in 1952 and the first in the history of Miao ethnic group here, taught numerous local Miao people, including the 57-year-old Feng Wanqing, who is now both headmaster and teacher of the school. As the only teacher in the school, Feng is teaching Chinese, language of Miao and mathematics to six pupils of Miao ethnic group. (Xinhua/Song Wen)
