Kuwaiti youths prepare to depart from the Kuwait Sea Club, on July 14, 2011, for this year's ten-day traditional pearl diving festival. Some 180 middle school students attend the traditional pearl diving in 16 wooden boats on Thursday. After the ten-day activity, students will present their harvest. Kuwaiti government organizes seafaring summer camp each year to offer opportunities for middle school students to learn how to make wooden boats and experience the traditional pearl diving.
