Canadian Forces spokesperson Brigadier-General Richard Blanchette speaks during a news conference at the Department of National Defense headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, on April 6, 2011. According to his update, Canada has boosted the number of Canadian Forces personnel involved in the NATO-led mission in the Mediterranean to enforce the United Nations Security Council's Resolution 1973 on no-fly zone in Libya by nearly 200, reaching 570 including pilots, naval personnel and a small number of special forces soldiers headquartered in Malta.
