Jordanian policemen protect anti-government protesters behind them from attacks in Amman, capital of Jordan, March 25, 2011. One person was killed and over 100 were injured as government loyalists clashed with anti-government demonstrators here on Friday. Gangs of thugs attacked the demonstrators with rocks and sticks as hundreds of young Jordanians started an open-ended sit-in Thursday at Jamal Abdel Nasser roundabout, demanding constitutional amendments and more freedom.
