Cars are scattered in a quake-damaged viaduct in Santiago, capital of Chile on Feb. 27. An 8.8-sacle earthquake jolted offshore Maule, 320 kilometers southwest of capital Santiago, killing over 500. An earthquake-triggered tsunami greatly affected the islands in the country's south. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre issued warnings to Central America, countries and regions in Asia-Pacific.
