Raytron's communication robot "Chapit" makes different facial expressions in response to voices, using its voice recognition function, during ROBOTECH, an exhibition on service robot manufacturing technologies, in Tokyo, in this combination picture taken July 28, 2010. Chapit possesses automatic speech recognition and speech synthesis functions with which it can select several suitable words from a speech database and compose an arbitrary speech.
