The Honduran police and soldiers Thursday dislodged, with teargas, hundreds of followers of ousted President Manuel Zelaya when they were occupying a highway in Tegucigalpa.

Zelaya's followers were attacked with teargas and gunshots, in a boulevard in El Durazno town.

Zelaya's followers pretended to block the highway to impede the vehicles' and commodities' transit to Cortes Port in the north of the country.
