Summer military training toughens up students

Students do push-ups during a training session at a juvenile military school in Hefei, the capital city of East China’s Anhui province, July 20, 2011. More than 4,000 students from primary and middle schools in Hefei joined the military school during their summer vacation to enhance their health and mental strength through training sessions including military sports, boxing, and gymnastics. The students completed their training programs Wednesday and showed their parents the result by performing various exercises. The school has been holding the sessions for 24 years and received about 200,000 trainees over the years. (Photo/Xinhua)
