Subway escalator stops working suddenly in S China, no casualties

A subway worker reports the escalator malfunction through an interphone at the Guangzhou Railway Station stop of subway line 2 in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, July 7, 2011. An elevator of the subway station stopped working suddenly at 4:18 p.m. Thursday. No casualties were reported. The investigation of the reason of the malfunction is underway. (Xinhua/Liu Dawei)
