A resident walks in the floodwater in Beigeng Township, Xincheng County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, July 1, 2011. More than 2,600 residents of the low-lying Beigeng Township have been left stranded by floods since Thursday, local authorities said Friday. All roads leading to the township have been cut off and rescuers are using boats to try to get to the stranded people. A flash flood triggered by days of heavy rainfall hit Beigeng at 4 p.m. Thursday. (Xinhua/Huang Xiaobang)
