Water level of Yangtze's Jiujiang section recovering from drought

Photo, taken on June 8, shows a staff gauge submersed in Yangtze River. There has been torrential rain throughout the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River since June 3, and the water level in the Jiujiang section keeps on rising. According to Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission, the water level in the Jiujiang section rose from 10.66 meters on June 3 to 11.54 meters on June 8, which is the highest record in the recent seven months.(Shen Junfeng/Xinhua)
