Guangzhou launches first non-stop flight to Amsterdam

On June 8, China Southern Airlines launched non-stop flight from Guangzhou to Amsterdam, and the opening ceremony was held in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Zhang Zifang (center), secretary of the Party committee of China Southern Airlines, presented an airplane model to J.A. Nijhuis, president and CEO of the airport. An Airbus A330 will fly the route three times a week. Counting the current seven weekly flights from Guangzhou to Amsterdam via Beijing, there will be a total of ten flights from Guangzhou to Netherlands on a weekly basis. (Pan Zhi/Xinhua)
