Heat wave hits Zhengzhou

In Zhengzhou, Henan province, bike riders wearing sunbonnets are on their way to work on June 7. On that day, the maximum air temperature in Zhengzhou was estimated to have hit 38 degrees Celsius, which is higher than the "orange level" for high temperatures. (Wang Song/Xinhua)
