Yuan Ming Yuan’s animal statues unveiled in Jiangsu


On June 2, at the "Poly Art Museum Collection Exhibition," journalists take photos of animal statues, which were looted from the Yuan Ming Yuan, also known as the Old Summer Palace. Four animal statues are displayed at Poly Champagne International Club in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. From June 4 to June 12, the Monkey Statue, the Ox Statue, the Tiger Statue and the Pig Statue are open to tourists. Also available for viewing are 14 figures of Buddha created in the Northern and Southern dynasties. (Jiang Jianhua/ Xinhua)
