Beijing-Shanghai high-speed train drops VIP section

A photo pictured on May 29, 2011 shows the VIP seats in a business-class carriage on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed train. The route just finished the first stage of trial run, and the official launch has entered a countdown. The railway has decided to remove the luxury VIP business-class compartments from trains that are capable of reaching 300 kilometer per hour. The business-class and sightseeing carriages with VIP seats are reserved.
