Photo, taken on May 4, shows the water line scene caused by the low water level of Po Yang Lake. This year, the rainfall in Jiangxi Province was about 50 percent less than the average amount of the same period in the last few years. Although moderate and heavy rainfall has hit Jiangxi Province since the start of May, the water level of Po Yang Lake remains low because the reservoirs are filling and there has been uneven precipitation in different regions.
