The Yellow Emperor, a half-historical and half-legendary hero figure in Chinese history and mythology, is considered the ancestor of the Chinese nation. Tuesday is the "San Yue San" (the third day of the third lunar month in Chinese Calendar), which is considered the birthday of Yellow Emperor. Xinzheng is believed to be the birthplace of Yellow Emperor and the very place where the Yellow Emperor created the ancient Chinese civilization. (Xinhua/Zhao Peng)
