Beijing cools after first rain in months

Photo taken on April 1 shows people riding bikes in raincoats through Tiananmen Square. A cold front swept across most parts of China, from northwest to southeast, bringing precipitation and a drop in temperature of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, according to the National Meteorological Center. Beijing witnessed the first rain in four months on Thursday afternoon, dragging the daytime high down to around 10 degrees Celsius and bringing humid conditions. (Xinhua photo)
