People's Daily Online is now on microblogs

People's Daily Online, with the accounts "E言译语," debuted on China's two leading microblog services Sina and Tencent on March 28, 2011.

People's Daily Online, one of China's top English news providers, yesterday started tweeting on Sina Microblog and Tencent Microblog. Its microblog accounts are named "E言译语," which means bilingual online news contents.

The links to the microblog accounts can be found on the top right of the homepage.

Following People's Daily Online on Sina Microblog and Tencent Microblog, the readers will be able to get real-time updates of breaking news, editorials and other important information. Meanwhile, the People's Daily Online's microblog accounts will also response to the followers and explore broader means of interaction.
