Sea gulls chase each other in Qingdao bay, east China's Shandong Province, March 20, 2011. Qingdao launched a sea gull protection activity in 1994. Thanks to the enhancement of people's environmental protection awareness, more than 20,000 sea gulls of nearly ten species chose to spend their winter in Qingdao bay this year. (Xinhua/Li Ziheng)
