Lanterns on sugar canes wish prosperity in New Year

Villagers hold sugar canes fastened with lanterns during a traditional folk festival in Xikou Village of Chaozhou City, south China's Guangdong Province, Feb. 18, 2011. Xikou, where is abound in sugar canes, holds the festival annually, by creating a long lane with sugar canes on the both sides, waiting for a big parade to get through.
